Privacy Policy

Effective August 11, 2026

1. Information we use

When you create or use a Cutter Vault account, the service may process your email address, name or profile information you provide, account identifier, membership status, credit balance, purchases, entitlements, download history, and support correspondence. The site also uses limited technical information needed to operate authentication, security, hosting, and downloads.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment-card information is entered into Stripe’s checkout experience rather than stored by The Cutter Vault. We receive transaction and subscription information needed to fulfill purchases, maintain memberships, and provide customer support.

3. Authentication, database, and file storage

We use Supabase for account authentication, database services, and protected file or image storage. We use Vercel to host and deliver the website. These service providers process information as needed to provide their infrastructure services.

4. Cart and browser storage

The shopping cart uses browser local storage so selected products can remain in your cart while you browse. Authentication providers may use cookies or similar browser storage required to keep you signed in and secure your session.

5. How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, process and fulfill orders, grant digital entitlements, calculate membership credits, provide downloads and re-downloads, maintain commercial-license status, prevent abuse, troubleshoot technical problems, answer support requests, and improve the service.

6. When information is shared

We do not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that operate payment processing, authentication, hosting, database, storage, security, or similar functionality; when a customer asks us to share it; or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the service and its users.

7. Retention

Account, purchase, entitlement, subscription, and download records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide permanent library access, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Some information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

8. Security

We use access controls and third-party infrastructure designed to protect account and transaction data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should use a unique password and protect access to their account and email.

9. Your choices and rights

You may ask to review, correct, or delete certain account information, subject to records we must or reasonably need to retain for purchases, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or ongoing entitlements. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights. We will honor rights that apply to your request.

10. Children

The Cutter Vault is intended for adults purchasing or using digital design files and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or its providers change. The effective date above will be updated when a new version is posted.

12. Contact

Privacy requests may be sent to support@cuttervault.com.
