Terms of Service
Effective August 11, 2026
1. The service
The Cutter Vault provides digital cookie-cutter STL files, bundles, memberships, account libraries, and related download services. Physical cutters sold through TheWinterlingCo or another marketplace are separate transactions governed by that marketplace and listing.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Accounts and membership access are for the account holder and may not be shared, resold, or transferred without permission.
3. Digital products
A purchase or membership claim gives you a license to use the applicable files under the Cutter Vault License; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or digital file. Unless a product page says otherwise, one cutter entitlement includes the eight production sizes shown on the site. Files already placed in My Library remain available for re-download while the service and your account remain available.
4. Memberships and credits
Membership plans provide the number of cutter credits displayed at checkout. Credits refresh monthly. Unused credits do not roll over when a new monthly credit period begins. Annual memberships are billed annually but still receive their included credits in monthly credit periods. Claiming a design permanently adds that entitlement to My Library and later re-downloads do not spend another credit.
5. Renewals and cancellation
Recurring memberships renew at the interval and price shown at checkout until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not ordinarily reverse a completed billing period. Access already granted to individual files remains in My Library, subject to these Terms and the License. Commercial Cutter License rights that require an active add-on end when that add-on is no longer active.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. The Cutter Vault does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Prices, discounts, currency, and any applicable taxes or fees are shown during checkout.
7. Acceptable use
You may not share, upload, redistribute, sublicense, resell, or make the digital STL files available to another person or service. You may not bypass download controls, use another customer’s account, scrape protected files, interfere with the service, or use the service unlawfully.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, replace, correct, reorganize, or discontinue features and may remove content when reasonably necessary for legal, security, technical, or rights-management reasons. We will not intentionally remove a paid entitlement simply to require the same customer to buy it again.
9. Intellectual property
The Cutter Vault site, software, branding, product presentation, and digital content are owned by The Cutter Vault and/or its licensors except where otherwise stated. Nothing in these Terms grants rights beyond the license expressly provided with a product or membership.
10. Refunds and statutory rights
Digital delivery and subscription refunds are handled under the Digital Download & Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer law.
11. Disclaimer and liability
Digital files are provided for compatible 3D-printing workflows. Printer calibration, slicer settings, material choice, food-contact practices, and final physical use remain the customer’s responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees that every file will work with every printer, material, slicer, or production setup, and liability is limited to amounts paid for the affected product or service where such a limitation is legally permitted.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
